Setting up an invoice factoring relationship for a distributor, manufacturer or service company requires a certain amount of due diligence on the part of the factor. But for medical or dental related factoring, that process is expanded due to the complexities of billing and collections in these industries. A due diligence audit is necessary to test the reliability of these important functions and determine the approximate percentage of gross billings that will be received in the future.
