April 4, 2012 -- Netcraft released the results of its April web server survey on Wednesday, in which Apache increased its market share to 65.5 percent. According to the survey, Apache saw the largest growth as it gained 22.8 million hostnames. Last month, it gained 22.5 million hostnames.
