January 31, 2012 -- Data center provider IO announced on Tuesday that it has completed a SSAE 16 Type 2 audit covering three data centers: IO New Jersey, IO Phoenix and IO Scottsdale. This announcement comes less than a month after IO named three new executives including VP of Western region sales, VP of Eastern region sales and SVP of marketing and communications.

January 31, 2012 -- Data center operator Terremark announced on Tuesday that it has received PCI DSS version 2.0 certification for six of its cloud-enabled data centers. This certification assures Terremark's commercial and government customers that process credit card transactions that the supporting infrastructure is protected at the industry-recognized standard for payment-card security.
