Web Host Peak 10 Hosts Websites for Denver Broncos Quarterback Tim Tebow
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center solutions provider Peak 10 announced on Thursday that it provides the infrastructure to host both official sites for Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow: www.TimTebow.com and children’s charity site www.TimTebowFoundation.org.
This announcement comes less than a week after Tebow set a record on Twitter as the subject of nearly 10,000 tweets per second after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime.
Peak 10 says both high-traffic sites are supported by its cloud platform and various managed services, including data backup, as a charitable contribution from its Jacksonville data center.
“Given our sites’ growing popularity and traffic, we chose Peak 10 because of the reliable IT solutions it was able to provide,” Erik Dellenback, executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation said in a statement. “We also appreciate the caliber of its expert staff and focus on customer service. We are excited about building our relationship moving forward.”
Tebow was a first-round draft pick in 2010, and most recently led the Broncos to the playoffs as quarterback. His foundation builds playroom’s in children’s hospitals, provides support for orphans, builds hospitals, and “makes dreams come true” for children with life-threatening illnesses.
“We are honored and excited to be working with The Tim Tebow Foundation,” Mike Stockwell, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Jacksonville said in a statement. “Through our state-of-the-art facilities, the foundation now has a secure environment to provide a high-quality Internet experience to its growing base of supporters around the world. Our highly-trained Jacksonville team will provide the Tim Tebow Foundation with unmatched levels of IT security and network availability.”
