(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Nexcess announced on Monday that it has launched a new line of UK WordPress hosting solutions.

This offering, available immediately, comes two months after Nexcess launched its WordPress web hosting platform in the US. Nexcess says it hopes to better serve bloggers that desire lower latency to European and Asian audiences.

In April 2011, Nexcess launched its Magento hosting platform in the UK, a few months after launching in the US.

“In recent years, it’s become very important to us to make sure that our friends across the pond are given the same high caliber of web hosting solutions that we provide here in Dearborn, Michigan,” Chris Wells, president and CEO of Nexcess said in a statement. “We’re very happy to be bringing this new WordPress hosting solution that our engineers worked so hard on developing, and are confident that it will be as popular in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe as we have already seen in the states.”

Nexcess has focused its efforts on providing specialty hosting solutions in the UK and US. According to the press release, Nexcess UK solutions will be limited to WordPress and Magento-based sites.

Its WordPress plans run on optimized software and hardware, according to its website.

Its Surrey-based data center provides N+1 uninterruptible power, N+1 HVAC cooling, and 24/7 support.
